Using a Natural Eczema Treatment – Simple Tips to Treat Your Eczema Naturally

Eczema is a skin disease that stimulates irritation, inflammation and itching. This is a very uncomfortable feeling.

In many areas of the world, eczema is considered to be a non-curable disease, because the medicament offered on the market today, can not be used for long periods of time due to their unpleasant side effects.

Fortunately, there are numerous natural eczema treatments that can be used to fight against eczema on an ongoing basis, if necessary, and which seem to have a far better impact than a lot of chemically prepared concoctions.

And although the cause of eczema may vary from one individual to another, yet the most common cause is genetic. If a family member is diagnosed with this disease, then it is likely that their descendants will inherit it too.

But before we examine one of the most sought-after natural eczema treatments for clearing the skin almost immediately, let’s have a look at some of the main causes which aggravate it.

The first thing is the clothes: your clothes can greatly influence the condition of your eczema.

There are common materials, which are more likely to cause irritation, such as wool, acrylic and other fibers that are man-made.

Changing your clothes’ kind may be the first major step in the removal of your eczema.

What should I wear then? You might ask.

It is comforting to know that there is a material that is guaranteed not to cause eczema and the material is cotton.

While this is not a direct natural eczema treatment, but I highly recommend wearing cotton clothes.

Cotton has been shown to reduce the itching by 60 %. Furthermore, if you want to determine what materials are the cause of your eczema and consequently toss them once of all, you can try to make a conscious effort not to wear cotton clothes for a period of time and then gradually introduce other clothes to see if you feel itchy.

The second major factor that has a huge impact on the health of your skin, is your diet.

If you are not aware of your food and beverages allergies, it may be time to start testing. To discover your allergies, you can keep track of what you eat and when you eczema worsens.

You might want to do this for about a month and you should start to see some foods that often stand out before starting any. This will allow you to determine which foods are causing your eczema and which are safe for you, before you start your natural eczema treatment.

If you’re not the kind of “testing” person, you can simply ask your doctor to perform a skin allergy test for different foods. This method is much faster, but the first method still works for many people and this is something that you can do regularly.

An example of foods that are triggering eczema: A lot of people who have eczema and drink alcohol regularly, may often find that the eczema-affected area of their skin worsens  up to the next day.

So if you are planning a party where alcohol is consumed, try to drink plenty of water and never drink on an empty stomach. Although this will not completely remedy the situation, it will reduce the impact tremendously.

These are only a two simple yet important methods to begin the fight and opt for a natural eczema treatment, as there are many other causes that can trigger eczema such as other allergies (dust, animals) and chemicals (perfume, aftershave, cosmetics) etc..

But the good news are that eczema can be treated and maybe even cured naturally.

The best first thing to consider if you begin a natural eczema treatment is to drink plenty of water and eat lots of fruits and vegetables that are rich in Vitamin E and Aloe Vera.

Water is the key ingredient for the human body. It hydrates both skin and body.

Furthermore, one of the most powerful elements in the fight against eczema, is Vitamin E. This nutrient is vital for the self-defense systems of the skin because it provides it with the necessary “fuel” to fight against bad bacteria, including eczema.

Why Argan Oil is One of the Best Natural Eczema Treatment Ingredients

Luckily, pure organic Argan oil is shown to have -among others- very high levels of a rare form of the vitamin E.

And this is one of the ingredients that makes Argan oil such a stellar ingredient according to different modern analyses, dermatologists as well as many beauty experts and skin specialists.

The rare form of vitamin E contained in Argan oil, does not only help repair and heal the damages as well as the traumas the skin has undergone, but it also slows and knocks down the aging signs.

To take advantage of Argan oil as a natural eczema treatment, simply massage some drops of Argan oil into the affected area. You can repeat this many times a day, depending on your situation.

Best results are yielded, however, when using Argan oil as a leave-in over night as well as directly after bathing or showering.

Combine the water as an internal weapon and Argan oil as an external shield and a natural eczema treatment and you’ll never look back.

If you have any kind of allergy (i.e. against nuts etc..) you may want to consult your doctor about the intake of Argan oil before using it. Remember, Argan oil is extracted out of a nut-like fruit.

My daughter had struggled with eczema since she was a baby. She scratches so bad at her skin. We have used steroid creams, dermatologists and the usual triamcinolone. I decided to go the natural route and use a pure Aloe skin treatment. This product has worked wonders and we only had it a few days.

With the Aloe treatment, I saw saw results super fast and its not toxic like the steroid creams the dermatologist gave us which did not work!

I have been using Argan oil on my eczema on my face for a week now and it is 85% cleared up. The dry patches were so bad it hurt to smile. Oh my gosh I am feeling so much better! I will continue to use this and I look forward to it helping the eczema on other parts of my body as well. I also noticed that when I eat apples it tends to flair up. So unfortunately I stopped eating them. 🙁

  • May I suggest this combination of ingredients that worked well on my father’s life-long psoriasis and eczema? I have made my own cream with these ingredients and others who have tried it report good results. One guy who tried the cream was nearly 80% covered in eczema but now he is down to 2% and dropping:

Essential oils of frankincense, lavender, chamomile, carrot seed, sandalwood, neroli and geranium diluted in a mixture of coconut oil, rosehip seed oil, avocado oil, sweet almond oil, aloe vera and black seed oil.

      Lisa

    • Do you know of a place that sells this mixture or is it just a make it yourself?

    • Melodie

  • Hi
Is there a specif argan oil for the skin or does one use the same one for the hair?

  • Why do we have to share on social media to unlock the article? The content of the article should be able to stand on its own instead of requiring people to share before even reading. There is plenty of free info on the web out there. I’d rather not endorse something I don’t know well enough to back up.

      Hi Toni,

      Thank you for your comment.

Whether or not you wish to share the page before accessing the information contained there-in, is up to you for sure.
However, let me clarify some points in your message and excuse my honesty as it aims only to confirm our commitment to serve the Argan oil community:

      1. ‘Plenty of free info’: You are right, there is a lot of information out there, AND des-information as well. A big chunk of the information about Argan oil out there is simply fallacious and is being parroted around without even being checked.

      2. ‘The content should be able to stand alone’: That’s correct too. Our articles are no fluff to entice people to buy a product xy.
The information shared here is based on our inherited authentic ancestral knowledge and is hence standing on its own. This alone (in my humble opinion) is reason enough to help us share the love – And if you find after sharing, that the post is not what you thought it to be, you still have the option to delete it from your social page timeline.

Additionally, we did invest a reasonable amount of time and effort with the sole goal to make this authentic information available for as much folks out there as possible to clean-up the shameful lies that are spread about this precious gift. Would it be really bad to help spread the right message?

      Cheers!
